We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Embedded Software Trace & Analysis. Our team develops software for lighting control in BMW, MINI, and Rolls Royce vehicles, where incorporating complex light animations into our control units presents a particular challenge due to limited resources.

What awaits you?

• As part of your internship, you will learn about embedded software tracing and analysis.
• You will be involved in the development of cloud-based trace and log analysis tools.
• Furthermore, you will explore the use and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) for trace analysis.
• Your insights into the embedded software development lifecycle at BMW will round off your exciting work.

What should you bring along?

• Enrollment in Master or Bachelor Studies in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, or comparable program.
• Experience in programming with Python or C#.
• Knowledge and experience in Cloud application development with AWS services.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques is desirable.
